The blanket has been pulled from the snowy and cold Chicago Winter. The sun is shining and the birds have traveled back to the Midwest. Spring is in the air and the monk has been working hard to bring our first album into fruition. Tonight marks the album cover shoot with ishootrockstars.com It has been an incredible mix of everyone coming together to design the set including Kyle, Liz, Sierra, Jason (EP Theater) Angie, and Zoe. This photo shoot is going to be amazing!

Don’t forget, The Loneliest Monk will be performing at The Whistler on April 6, 2009 in Logan Square w/ Brooklyn gents Asa Ransom (9pm). We can’t wait to see you.

We’ll be making a surprise appearance tonight at the EP Theater during the interludes of 3 By Tennessee, a production of three recently discovered Tennessee Williams short plays: Mister Paradise, The Palooka, & Pink Bedroom. The night will also include complimentary period drinks. We were just informed that the evening has sold out, but for those of you with tickets, we’ll see you tonight.
